Gordon's guaranteed +25% Health buff (effect_op 113) is the reason he appears in every serious defensive joiner board. Because he is Epic rather than Mythic, he is far faster to max, and the classic pairing of two Sauls plus two Gordons produces roughly 2.16x DefenceUp.
